We are continuing to build a local Dayenu Circle and would love to have you join our efforts.Learn more and register here.
A community Dayenu Circle can provide a center of gravity, enabling us to align Jewish values with the change we seek to make in the world. We can do this work together not only to take effective action to confront the climate crisis, but to sustain ourselves and our spirits as we act. Rooted in community and drawing on Jewish wisdom and experience supports us as we move from fear and anxiety to courageous action.
What is a Dayenu Circle and why would I want to be part of it? Dayenu Circles—small groups of people working on climate action—are a way for you to make powerful, positive change with a Jewish voice. Together with just a few friends, fellow community members, or neighbors you can join or create a Dayenu Circle that can be your homebase for climate action. Learn about Dayenu's successful "Keep the Law” campaign
Chutzpah - Dayenu’s signature, non-partisan effort to mobilize climate-concerned voters in key states - is going into full swing. The goal is to elect climate champions at the local, state and federal levels who have the chutzpah to deliver urgent action on climate at the scale that science and justice demand. Dayenu provides a full menu of actions that voters in every state can take in the months leading up to the 2024 election.
The Jewish Collaborative of OC and our friends at Climate Action Campaign are delighted to report that on July 1st, Senate Bill 1374 passed in the Assembly Committee on Utilities and Energy, making it more affordable for schools, businesses, apartment buildings and other multiple meter venues to benefit from solar energy like individual homeowners. Thank you to all those who reached out to your state legislators in support of this bill. Learn more about SB 1374

Experiencing inexplicable pain and suffering is an aspect of the human condition that people of every faith tradition have wrestled with for millennia. The Book of Job invites us into a conversation about the connection between suffering and punishment by exploring the story of one righteous man confronted with overwhelming misfortune through no fault of his own. Join us as we explore the complex topic of theodicy and pathways for coping in the face of disaster.
