Thank you to all those who helped make JCoOC and OCJCR's first Newcomer's Friendsgiving Dinner last Sunday a great success. Participants of all ages enjoyed sharing stories, delicious food and making new friends. Our gracious host venue, Anaheim United Methodist Church, and their dedicated volunteers supported this effort with full hearts. We thank our outstanding volunteer team Sonya Gurien, Robin Gurien, Josh Susskind, Sandra Green and Cheryl Cohen for their hard work and beautiful energy - an inspiring way to enter this season of love and generosity.

Proceeds from this event will be dedicated to supporting JCoOC's Social Action / Community Service programs, Interfaith Partnerships, and Creative Arts initiatives.

Tuesday, December 6 at 5:30pm PT BEGINNING HEBREW READING This is the last week to enroll for the current cohort of Beginning Hebrew Reading. Designed for students new to Hebrew decoding and a great refresher for people wanting to review their reading skills. The linguistic focus will be on comfort with prayerbook Hebrew.
