IKARON offers concierge Jewish learning for children grades K-7. In-person

Small groups of 2-4 students can form throughout the year based upon interest and instructor availability. Parents who wish to learn more should write to rabbimarcia@jewishcollaborativeoc.org

Program description:
IKARON brings each child on a journey of discovery, helping them to uncover an authentic connection to the time-tested teachings of Judaism. We do this through project-based learning, music, interactive activities, and opportunities to explore personal connections. Through exposure to prayer, ritual, Shabbat and festival observance, and Torah study, IKARON students will embrace life lessons guided by Jewish ethics. Hebrew vocabulary and connection to the land of Israel are reinforced throughout.

IKARON DIRECTOR

Now in her fourth year as lead educator for IKARON, Carina Rock is also the Associate DIrector of Jewish Life at Tarbut v'Torah Day School in Irvine. Prior to that, she was the West Coast Director of Jewish Interactive, a global nonprofit dedicated to inspiring today’s generation through Jewish Ed-Tech. She has a Masters in Jewish Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Digital Media. Carina’s activity in the art world fuels her work in education, where she provides consultation to schools, parent and student programming, professional development for teachers and community strengthening initiatives.

Gan Laguna

Gan Laguna is a home-based Jewish learning and living experience for families with young children. We are based in Laguna Beach but welcome families from all over OC!
