Weissman Arts Program 2024 - Be the Change
APRIL 7, 2024 – JUNE 30, 2024 2024
Be the Change is an “artivism” initiative inspired by the Jewish tenet of justice as expressed through our ritual of giving tzedakah. This exhibit is about making space to talk about injustice and providing the necessary action steps to be agents of change in our local and global communities.
JCFOC Weissman Arts is pleased to collaborate with the Skirball Cultural Center by including many of the boxes from their recent mounting of Be the Change. Four new boxes are being commissioned for the Orange County community.

Arellano will lead us on a walking tour uncovering stories of resilience and injustice. The time includes a stop at the She/They gallery to view Shirel's work in the context of how boundaries and hidden narratives play a part in her work. The tour will end at Alta Baja and the 4th St Market for an optional lunch and learn.
