We connect volunteers and people with passions for a cause to local and national consciousness-raising and social justice projects and resources. We do so through targeted tzedakah campaigns throughout the year, often associated with Jewish holidays, and through our Tzedak-a-the-Month giving program.
Our most recent efforts are focused on supporting local organizations working with resettled refugees and helping homelessness service providers continue to support their clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. A few examples of our work in 2020 include:

Campaigns:
In 2020, alongside our collaborative partners, we raised and distributed funding, food, and clothing valued at more than $15,000 to homelessness and refugee relief organizations throughout Orange County. Donations support the homeless population of Orange County through bulk purchases of groceries, underwear, shoes, water, meal kits, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and more.
Tzedak-a-the-Month Club (ongoing acts of loving-kindness):
Every month, the Collaborative continues to provide relief where it is most needed. While the long-term impact of COVID-19 on OC’s growing number of at-risk residents is unquantifiable, we know that help will be needed for years to come.
