The Wildland-Urban Interface Climate Action Network (WUICAN) is a consortium of community-based organizations, California Native American Tribes, land managers, and universities in Southern California collaborating to address the need for more effective climate action. WUICAN’s goals are to create a new model for co-governance and co-design of climate solutions that center the needs of impacted communities, build capacity for collaboration and decision-making across community-based organizations, universities, and land stewards, and develop community-driven policies and practices for land and water stewardship in the face of climate change.
“Climate: Air, Earth and Water” is on display at LBCAC through May 25. Photographers Jacques Garnier and Tom Lamb are joined by artist Roberto Salas in this special exhibition.

MESSENGERS OF MEMORY: 25 Years of the Holocaust Art & Writing Contest APRIL 17 - JULY 31, 2024
All are invited to visit the special curated exhibit, Messengers of Memory, highlighting 25 years of prize-winning entries in the Holocaust Art & Writing Contest, co-sponsored by the Rodgers Center for Holocaust Education at Chapman University and The 1939 Society.
This extraordinary exhibit, including art, prose, poetry, and film, honors Holocaust survivors and celebrates the creativity of students who are their voices to the future - messengers of memory. In the Burra Family Community Room of the Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University. Parking available in the Old Towne West Parking Structure 130 N. Lemon Street.
The Jewish Collaborative is excited to participate in Be the Change - an “artivism” initiative inspired by the Jewish tenet of justice as expressed through our ritual of giving tzedakah. This exhibit is about making space to talk about injustice and providing the necessary action steps to be agents of change in our local and global communities.
JCFOC Weissman Arts is pleased to collaborate with the Skirball Cultural Center by including many of the boxes from their recent mounting of Be the Change. Four new boxes are being commissioned for the Orange County community.
