Collaborative Theater Arts Programs
JCoOC collaborates with a variety of theater arts programs throughout the country to offer performances with Jewish subject matter and timely topics.
Current Programs
Jewish Teen Theatre Initiative
JTTI is a new, interest-based youth initiative for OC Jewish teens ages 13-18 interested in all aspects of theater production, including playwriting, acting, set-design, choreography, sound, promotion, and more.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Orange County, each of the six events are offered at no charge to participants.

When you think about biblical women, what images and words come to mind? Temptress? Victim? Women subjugated by husbands or fathers? Close textual reading reveals that these stereotypes are incongruous with the actual lived experiences of female characters in TaNaKh. In this course we will gain some new insights into the extraordinary women that populate the pages of our Holy Scriptures.
