This past Monday I attended a fascinating Webinar co-sponsored by Jewish Federation of Orange County and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs titled The Grand Pivot: Jewish Adaptability in This Interesting Time. It featured insights and wisdom from Gidi Grinstein and Eran Shayshon from the Reut Group (a Zionist think-tank based in Israel) and Jeff Margolis from the Rose Project of Jewish Federation of Orange County. It is a "must watch" for anyone interested in potential opportunities at this critical moment for the Jewish Community in this country to be an agent for healing in our deeply divided society. In that vein, it is alos an affirmation of the outreach efforts and hesed projects JCoOC is spearheading with our interfaith partners throughout OC.
You can watch the one hour recording by clicking here. It is also available to be seen and shared anytime in the Rose Project video library, that includes some excellent recordings on the challenges of annexation in the West Bank, Israeli politics in general, and the complex dynamics between the Israeli and American Jewish Communities.
