We need your help to make 2021 our most impactful year ever!

2020 compelled businesses and individuals to change patterns of behavior and lifestyle in ways no one could have imagined, identifying creative solutions to meeting needs, large and small.

The Jewish Collaborative has been able to offer our community (and beyond) Jewish connection through a wide array of spiritual uplift, entertainment and learning opportunities. This is all possible because of extraordinary supporters like you!

One of the most touching ways we've been able to do this is through the creation of OC Egal, a community-wide, egalitarian minyan that meets by Zoom on weekday evenings, Sunday through Thursday. Until OC Egal was established, the only daily minyanim in Orange County could be found at select Orthodox houses of worship. 

Now, women and men seeking an inclusive prayer space in which to fulfill the mitzvah of daily worship and recite Mourner’s Kaddish in community can access our minyan from anywhere.

Of the more than thirty people that have consistently joined us since we opened our Zoom worship room on May 31, nearly half were in a period of mourning without access to a daily service.  Many have remained weekly participants who now “make a minyan” for others. We also offer “morning minyan on demand” for people wishing to say Kaddish during shaharit. 

Please give TODAY to help us meet our $54,000 end-of-year fundraising goal.  We are already a third of the way there. Your gift will support our growing number of ongoing programs, classes and services, offered to everyone at no charge, that includes providing a sacred space for daily worship to the pluralistic Jewish community.
