Shabbat Shirah Shalom. This week in Torah, the children of Israel - led by Moses and Miriam - sing Shirat Hayam (Song of the Sea - Exodus 15:1-18), pouring their hearts out in poetic songs of praise to God for redeeming them in safety from slavery and punishing their Egyptian oppressors. This Shabbat is generally filled with musically enriched programs in most synagogues.
JCoOC will be joining the Sisterhood of Temple Beth El in South County beginning at 9:30am for their Kol Isha Shabbat Service (KISS) that will feature special guest, Neshama Carlebach, who some of you might remember from our Shabbat to Remember on September 11.
