The winter solstice (December 21) has been designated as a day to commemorate the deaths of our community members without homes who passed away on the streets of OC, many of whom have no family to honor their lives and memorialize them. In 2020, the total number of homeless people who passed away in OC was 330. This year we are expected to exceed that number. Read this Daily Pilot article to learn more.
