The Jewish Collaborative of Orange County is delighted to sponsor the OC Collaborative HIAS Welcome Circle. Circle members include: Sam Balchowsky, Marlene Burnett, Rudi Berkelhammer, Gail Dratch, Pamela Kause, Barbara Rosen, and others. Each HIAS Welcome Circle is composed of between 6-9 community members joining together to sponsor an Afghan family that was evacuated during the airlift out of Kabul in August, 2021, who will be resettled in Orange County in the next few weeks.

February 2 - 9 at UCI AMERICANS AND THE HOLOCUAST UCI Libraries is one of 50 U.S. libraries selected to host Americans and the Holocaust, a traveling exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum that examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans’ responses to Nazism, war and genocide in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s.
