Dear Friends,

Shavua Tov. In these final hours of 2022, we honor everyone who has worked with us to spread the "joy of Jewish" far and wide: Our teachers, spiritual leaders, musicians, volunteer leaders, program participants, community partners and donors.  Together we form a collaborative team that is making an impact on Jewish lives across the nation. Thank you all!

In 2022 we introduced some groundbreaking programs including:

• C.L.U.E. B'SHEVAT: A Tu b'Shevat seder dedicated to championing worker justice issues in SoCal in partnership with Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice.
• Online Jewish Bereavement cohorts led by Chaplain Fran Chalin, M.S.W./M.J.C.S.
• GAN LAGUNA: A monthly in-home Shabbat afternoon program geared to families with children ages 0-5.
• An LGBTQI+ Sensitivity and Inclusion Training for Jewish professionals and lay leaders in partnership with JQ International
• Shakespeare and Sacred Text - A Midsummer Retreat in partnership with UCI's New Swan Shakespeare Center.
• A Friendsgiving Dinner for families from Afghanistan and Ukraine new to the USA in partnership with Orange County Jewish Coalition for Refugees.
• OC's inaugural Kosher Dill Pickleball Tournament and Latke Festival that brought together an eclectic gathering of people of all ages celebrating community and culture.
• OC Jewish Cooking Connections: Monthly cooking vignetters produced in collaboration with the JCC's Culinary Arts department.  Watch a video. 

In addition, we enjoyed another wonderful year of learning, worship and fun with established JCoOC programs that include:

• Shabbat by the Shore Friday night celebrations in private homes
• Advanced Learning Institute weekly classes featuring cutting-edge scholarship
• OC Egal Nightly Minyan
• Twelve Steps and Torah every Shabbat afternoon
• Collaborative High Holiday services and programs
• Realize Rosh Hodesh led by Kohenet Rachel Kann
