The Jewish Collaborative of OC and the OC Jewish Coalition for Refugees invite you to participate in an important conversation on Thursday, February 9th at 7pm at the Merage Jewish Community Center (1 Federation Way, Irvine) with social entrepreneur and consultant Dr. Gadi Gvaryahu, known for his innovative resistance against religious extremism of all kinds. Dr. Gvaryahu is the founder of Tag Meir, a coalition of Israeli organizations promoting democratic and Jewish values and combating all forms of racism and hate. Tag Meir supports all victims of terror and hate crimes and brings together a diverse spectrum of activists and faith leaders, from religious to secular.

Our love for Israel translates into a commitment to its healthy future as a home for all Jewish people.  Because this small country is undergoing dramatic political changes with the installation of the new government, many Israelis and American Jews have serious concerns about what these changes mean for gender equality, human rights for all citizens, and the democratic future of the country.
