The Jewish Collaborative family mourns the passing of Toni Mandel McDonald, one of Jewish Orange County's most colorful and philanthropic leaders. We extend heartfelt condolences to her beloved husband Terry, her brother Richard, sister-in-law Andrea, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece and nephew. Starting Sunday, March 12 5-6:30pm PT | 8-9:30pm ET ALI IN THE EVENING Scott Spitzer, Associate Professor of Political Science at California State University, Fullerton, will be teaching his course on the Politics of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. The class will explore the multiple and oftentimes conflicting narratives of major inflection points in Israel’s relationships with her surrounding neighbors and with the Palestinians. 12 Sundays, beginning March 12. Women philanthropists are the change makers of our Orange County Jewish community. This passion for community is the bedrock of Women’s VOICES, the flagship event powered by Women’s Philanthropy of Jewish Federation of Orange County.

UCI Law is excited to bring together a community of justice-minded individuals for an in-person opportunity to learn and discuss current issues in public interest law. The annual MLK, Jr. Teach-In has returned from a pandemic pause on the Cesar Chavez holiday. As always, there will be panels discussing the efforts of community organizers and activists to address racism and inequality in the U.S. Panels will also look to the future of legal movements with discussions of civil rights, human rights and the rule of law.
The reception following the panels will bring together attendees in an outdoor setting to continue conversations about justice in our community and beyond.
