Pacifica Institute is hosting a Community Interfaith Iftar on Thursday March 30th at 5:30pm (Anatolia Cultural Center, 13742 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, Ca 92602) Join them for an evening of faith and community as they break their fast and pray together. A meal generously provided by Pacifica, and prayers provided by interfaith representatives.
UCI Law is excited to bring together a community of justice-minded individuals for an in-person opportunity to learn and discuss current issues in public interest law. The annual MLK, Jr. Teach-In has returned from a pandemic pause on the Cesar Chavez holiday. As always, there will be panels discussing the efforts of community organizers and activists to address racism and inequality in the U.S. Panels will also look to the future of legal movements with discussions of civil rights, human rights and the rule of law.
The reception following the panels will bring together attendees in an outdoor setting to continue conversations about justice in our community and beyond.
