PRE-YOM KIPPUR CEMETERY VISITS Kever Avot (literally "graves of our ancestors") refers to the time-honored tradition of visiting the burial sites of loved ones between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We remember their worthy deeds, reconnect with our personal histories and support one another during this ten-day period of awe and reflection. Outdoor memorial services led by community clergy will be followed by graveside visits.
