Yom Hazikaron & Yom Ha’atzmut Community Observances and Celebrations in OC
May 10-13

Our need to come together in community is elevated at this complicated time. We hope those who live in Orange County will be able to participate in some of the events and programs listed below.
For JCoOC followers living in other parts of the country, we encourage you to find programming in your area and/or online.

Am Yisrael Chai

5:00 p.m. Yom Ha’Atzmaut family activities and an Israeli dinner for all ages. Menu: Mediterranean salad, falafel, saffron rice pita & hummus. Cost: $10 adults; $5 kids. 

5:30 p.m. Israel Independence Day family services for all ages led by Rabbi Rachlis and Cantor Braier.
No cost to attend but reservations required.

A unique Shabbat focused on Israel!
10:00 a.m. Shabbat Service with “Eight Decades of Israeli Music”
12:00 p.m. Mediterranean Lunch & EuroVision Viewing Party

Yom Hazikaron | Yom Ha'atzmaut Solidarity Concert
Sunday, May 12th at 4pm
Congregation B'nai Israel | 2111 Bryan Avenue in Tustin

Featuring local cantors and musicians along with the CBI Youth Choir and students from Irvine Hebrew Day School.

Concert proceeds will benefit: American Friends of NATAL | Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center
