NOW, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work! Here’s what you can do:
1. Sign up NOW to attend three phonebanking shifts in the next 9 weeks! There will be two or more shifts a week until Election Day.
Click on the links below to join one or both phone banking shifts this week:
Wondering if phonebanking is for you? You don’t need any experience to join a shift – and it’s fun. We gather on Zoom, introduce ourselves, hear a kavanah (short teaching and words of intention), then train folks who are new to the dialing system – and start calling. We close out by sharing highlights from our calls, and enjoying a little live music. It feels good to do this work Jewishly, nourished by our ancestral wisdom and connected with each other.

This question in 2025 has deep personal and political consequences with roots in ancient Jewish debates. Rabbi Daniel will trace how ideas of Jewish identity have shifted across time - from biblical categories to the modern crises of belonging. We will explore why there has never been one clear answer to the question of Jewish identity and why the debate itself may be essential to Jewish continuity.
