Featuring remarks from Executive Director and CEO of The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, Jonathan Brent, and a special performance by Niv Ashkenazi, performed on a Holocaust-era Violin of Hope.

Help Them Home April 23,2025 | All Day- ONLINE GIVING DAY
On April 23, 2025, 29 nonprofit organizations will unite to raise $1.5 million to combat homelessness in Orange County. With over 6,860 children and adults experiencing homelessness each night, this fundraising effort is vital to connecting individuals and families with the shelter and resources they need.
Help Them Home is a 24-hour online initiative powered by social media, collaboration, and the Orange County Community Foundation. Everyone has a chance to make a lasting impact.
Family Promise Orange County is one of the 29 nonprofits participating in this initiative. Click here to help them raise $85,000 that will support at-risk families from falling into the dangerous cycle of homelessness and sustain families who need support to get into housing as soon as possible.

The Violin Maker is a new play by Ronda Spinak (Artistic Director of The Braid) and Lisa Pearl Rosenbaum with music curation by Dr. Noreen Green (founding director of LA Jewish Symphony). This important work is based on the true story of Israeli violin maker Amnon Weinstein. He gathered and restored ruined violins that survived the Holocaust and ultimately created a remarkable collection known throughout the world as the Violins of Hope.The Violin Maker opens April 25th for a three-week run. Previews are April 23 and 24.
